Physical Education
The physical education program seeks to develop individual athletic skills, improve fitness, expose students to a variety of sports, and teach teamwork and sportsmanship.
For each grade, the year is divided into six parts; touch football, basketball, soccer, floor hockey, wiffleball and color war. The focus is on learning proper techniques, learning the rules of the game, playing as a team, and behaving with proper sportsmanship. The goal is to make fitness fun and involve each student. The program emphasizes cooperation and fair play while making sure that everyone has an equal opportunity to participate.
